Word of the Week - Thank You

Anyone climbing on Mt. Kilimanjaro, or going on safari, should take time and learn some basic phrases in Swahili, the main language of East Africa. Don’t worry, all your guides will speak English, but often your porters, people in markets know only a little bit of English. Learning some Swahili shows respect and will give you better insight into the culture. I guarantee it will be appreciated. Each week, we will bring you Word of the Week, which you can hear in both English and Swahili.
